I really need a new flat iron. My chi broke on me and I dont really want to go back because it made my hair smell gross and it made my hair oily. I have thick medium length hair and was wondering if anyone who uses it has any good or bad things to say.

My hair is somewhat wavy. It is helpful, but not required to pre-straighten hair before curling. Tips- *Rotate the iron 180* for a curl *The iron may be rotated a full 360* for a tighter curl *The slower you pull the iron, the tighter the curl *Practice makes perfect. Practice right before ou take a sower so you can wash the style out. *To get to the back of the head, grab a piece of hair horizontally and start curling where you can see it. I have two hair straighteners, both from my local CVS drugstore. One is Conair, and one is Revlon. My hair is in between thick and thin. The plates on my solia limited edition pink 1 inch flat iron dont meet up all the way. In the front they close up completely, but on the part closer to the temp. controls they dont toiuch. also, it pulls on my hair a little at the end if my hair gets caught there. how do i stop this? & if i cant, does anyone know how folica works with all the returning & receiving new items like exchanging ? thanks
